Why Record players aren’t practical at all

It’s 2022 not the 60s or 70s, we have a damn satellite in the sky that can look across the galaxy at things over 300 million years old. We have super computers with hundreds of gigs of memory in the palm of our hand, compared to the 60s where the NASA rocket that landed on the moon had 32 kilobytes! I’m utterly bafuddled at people who enjoy record players and prefer them over a brand new JBL speaker. Are you seriously going to look me in the eyes and say this old ass technology sounds better than my iPhone 12 using Bluetooth to a brand new speaker? And yes I keep saying brand new speaker because with the price people are paying for a piece of technology technically made in the 1800s! Is outrageous I mean look at this crap.

And here’s another one, this is ridiculous guys… takes up a shit ton of room as well.

There’s a ton of record players over $400 but I figured I’d take it easy and pick the $200 ones. Look at JBL speakers waterproof, Bluetooth, portable and sound great.

I mean sure if your extremely bored and want to mess with ancient tech when it breaks 4 times in a hour be my guess. Let’s put it this way when’s the last time you went to a party and someone asks to hop on the record player? You just are screwed if you don’t like the music at the party and want to change it, your limited to vinyl that is there.
I’ll leave it to the readers of this blog to make up their own minds
Do you want the ancient record player that is not portable whatsoever, extremely Unwaterproof, limited to a few vinyl's you actually have to physically own, extremely unreliable.
Or
The JBL that is the same cost (if not cheaper) that is Bluetooth, is very portable, waterproof & very reliable
When your camping (or literally anything at all) with your friends and someone wants to play music you never hear “hey man get that record player going!”
