MAJOR SPOILER WARNING!!

AGAIN, MAJOR SPOILER WARNING!!!!

The series finale for Ms. Marvel has dropped and boy was it GOOD. The series as whole, was okay. Some parts seemed to drag on but some good action moments. It seemed to cater towards a younger crowd and that may make people not like it. However, the story line was top tier and the series finale made everything worth it.

WE FINALLY HAVE OUR FIRST CONFIMRED MUTANT!!!! In the series finale, Bruno tells Kamala that something is off with her genes compared to her families. Bruno then proceeds to tell Kamala that it is "like a mutation". OH BOY. Also, let's not leave out the fact that while Bruno is telling Kamala about her mutation genes, the X-MEN 97' Theme was playing in the background. That was confirmed in the Ms. Marvel credits from the series finale. The only way she could have inherited the X-Gene has to be through her father. It would explain why she was able to wield the power of the bangle. X-Gene from her father, Clandestine from her mother. WOAH. Would her brother have the same abilities as her if he had the bangle? HMMM?? Makes you think. Kamala is the first mutant introduced to the MCU. Diehard fans have been waiting for this moment ever since Kevin Feige hinted at it back in 2019. Now let's discuss the crazy mid-credit scene.

WE HAVE A CAPTAIN MARVEL CAMEO ALERT. Kamala was relaxing in her bedroom until her bangle began to light up. A scramble of energy threw Kamala into her closet and made her disappear, however, Captain Marvel appeared. She looked confused as to where the hell she was but soon started to piece together that she was in the bedroom of a HUGE Captain Marvel fan (Kamala has Captain Marvel pictures all throughout her room). This certainly confirms that Kamala will be back in the movie "The Marvels", which is set to release in July 2023. We hopefully will get more elaboration on the mutants in that movie, if not beforehand.

Overall, I am going to give Ms. Marvel a 7.2/10. Good action, great story line, and some funny moments. Like I said previously, some parts catered to a younger crowd, but the last couple episodes really make the series a must watch. I understand arguments for giving it a lower score, however, the season finale cannot be understated how big of a moment this was for the future of the MCU.
