Is Monday Night Football Truly Back?

Monday Night Football returns to our screens and for the first time since Mike Tirico left ESPN in 2015 it has big game feel to it. Since then it's been a slew of characters ranging from Sean McDonough, Joe Tessitore, Matt Hasselback, Booger McFarland to Jason Witten and it has not been good. The likes of Steve Levy, Louis Riddick and Brian Griese was a solid trio but it did not give Monday Night Football a stand alone big game feel.
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman come together as a package deal from Fox and whether you like Joe and Troy or not they have big game feel to them. 6 Super Bowls and over 300 games called, which most being the primetime Fox 4:25pm slate, has them prepared to make these games exciting to watch. I used the fall asleep halfway through the games strictly because of the announcers but now Joe and Troy are professionals and will give the stand alone vibe for every Monday night.

They get a great matchup with Russell Wilson returning to Seattle looking to start anew in Denver and bring more rings there than he did here. Seattle is going to be very mediocre as they start the season with quarterback controversy with Geno Smith and Drew Lock. Other than the Seahawks sucking, the emotions and the "12's" will have the team play a little better than they are but this will be a test for Denver to show they are true Super Bowl contenders.
My favorite plays of the game are Jerry Jeudy over 59.5 receiving yards and to score the first touchdown of the game (+800). I think Nathaniel Hackett, Russ and that explosive receiving core are looking to bust open the playbook and it is going to happen early with Jeudy speeding down the sidelines. With overall the game ending in a very in controlling Denver Broncos W.
