In a world where everyone turns left, I have to turn right.

I must admit, when I first heard the news of Heinz Fields name being changed to Acrisure Stadium I felt indifferent, even angry, maybe a little grossed out too.

Before the news broke that a Michigan Insurance Agency won the bidding war, I figured we would be subjected to something like UPMC Field, or BetRivers Stadium, something homegrown I thought.

But boy was I wrong and boy are people pissed. But as a chronic contrarian my hands were tied. I had no choice but to support the name change simply because everyone else hated it so much.

When the crowd turns left, I turn right. When the group orders a round of beers, I get a gin and tonic. It is the same reason why I support the royal family. The same reason I support Chet Hanks. It is even the same reason I don’t think it was shrimp in the cinnamon toast crunch. Remember?

Acrisure might not roll off the tongue. But do your research. This company is an absolute powerhouse, much like the Steelers Defense. A global fintech leader. (I had to look up what fintech was, it means financial technology)

It is the fastest growing brokerage in history! You have heard of history right? They operate in 14 countries, and had 3.8 billion in revenue last year.

So yeah, if Heinz doesn’t want to be associated with the greatest franchise in sports then fuck em! Hunts isn't even that bad. If i'm the Steelers I start only selling Hunts at games from now on. It's not personal, it's strictly business. #TeamAcrisure
