Friday Night Lights

What's going on everybody, the best time of the year is here. The best time is 100% in fact the Thursday and Friday night games college football has to offer us. It is always an electric matchup between a Sun Belt or a MAC school and yes it is sloppy but that's what we love about it. I wish I had my percentage on betting on just the Thursday and Friday games because it would probably float around 70%. I am going to break down the two games tonight and give my picks.

Game 1: Louisville @ UCF 7:30PM

UCF -5.5 O/U 61.5

Louisville took an embarrassing 31-7 L against their ACC foe Syracuse. It was embarrassing because the Cardinals were thought to be a dark horse competitor in the ACC but with a loss like that their season could potentially be over. UCF on the other hand beat down on South Carolina St 56-10 at home. Now playing SC St is a lot different than playing Syracuse but are they really that different? Louisville beat UCF last year in a thrilling 42-35 win at home so UCF has some revenge on their mind.

THE PICK IS IN: UCF -5.5 2u

UCF gets revenge from last year and puts their name on the map with a blowout win against Louisville.

GAME 2: Boise St @ New Mexico

Boise St -17 O/U 44

Boise St comes off a bad loss against a bad Oregon St team 34-17 at Oregon St and they left that game with a sour taste in their mouth. New Mexico on the other side took the win against Maine 41-0 at home. Now Oregon St is bad but they would beat the shit out of Maine 41-0 too so I don't play any factor into New Mexico's week 1 win, I look more at Boise St week 1 loss. Boise St has a little QB controversy as their backup QB came in the second half of that game and ending up winning the half 17-10, but reports as of now have Bachmeier is the starter for this game at least and he wants to erase everyone's mind for what happened last week.

THE PICK IS IN: New Mexico +17 1u

I think Boise St wins the game but New Mexico keeps it close all game. Definitely within the 17 number.
